Infantree shoot

I was able to have a little photo session with the band Infantree.  They were a great group of guys and their music is even better.  Check them out, http://www.infantreemusic.com/

Lines in Sand, Black and White

It is simply amazing to see in detail and with loads of contrast, the beauty the waves created in the sand.  Knowing that each line is original and will never be recreated makes me feel a deeper connection with the originality nature.  God himself drew the lines and placed each individual grain of sand in its place. Being able to capture this beauty reminds me just how small and fragile we are as people.

Totally excited about his new lens.  I will be using it a lot for portraits and adapting it to video as well.

Old tools out at the Ranch

So, I traveled west with my wife.  Along the way we stopped at my grandmas ranch.  Looking at these photos I wish I would have taken about 50 more of various tools around my grandpas old barn.  I really like these.  My grandpa, dad and uncles likely used these tools over the years.  The ranch has a special place in my heart.  I took some panoramic shots of the landscape that I will post in a few days.  I am in LA now and getting settled, so editing and taking pictures is kind of taking a backseat for now.
